Well first of all I LOVE my job!

Weddings

It’s very easy when you are attending weddings every week to get complacent about just how important and special a wedding day is. I think all of us girls have paraded around the bedroom with tea towel on head and our mums plastic flowers pretending to be a bride – or is that just me?? Hours in the classroom dawdling our new name for when we get married - practising our signature. Not sure Lydia Gillespie has the same ring as Lydia Taylor-Jones so thank goodness he dumped me!

The point is I would never take for granted how much this day has been looked forward to and all the decisions big and small that have been agonised over and I make it my job to capture as much detail and raw emotion on that one day that I possibly can. After all, the photos are all that are left as a permanent record of that one day that you have been looking forward to all your life. You will never ever again have a picture of your husband’s face when he first sees you walking down that aisle looking so beautiful. To witness the groom’s mothers emotion knowing she’s lost her son to another woman (as much as she loves you!) or the pride on a bride’s fathers face as he gives his little girl away. Probably never again will you be surrounded in one place, on one day with the most important friends and family in your lives. These are all once in a lifetime events. So Yes, it is such a special day filled with so many happy memories. So you have to get it right when choosing your photographer and giving them such a responsible task. Do you want to risk being disappointed in any way? I put 100% in to every wedding I have the honour of working on. I try my very best to be a part of the day, to add something to the enjoyment and fun whilst always remaining professional. Yes at times you have to be a little bossy and organise people etc but all this can be done with humour and patience and that is my aim. If you would like any more information regarding my wedding packages please contact me.

My wedding coverage starts at £1,250 and always includes a second photographer with me on the day.

Portraits

My husband and I have six children between us! Am I patient! Yes! So never worry about bringing along your children or babies for a portrait at our studio. The portraits will be taken by myself or Nicola also a qualified Master Photographer. Nicola also has small children (not six though!) and we will make sure your all relaxed and happy before we even pick up our camera. The portrait sitting will be enjoyable and fun and you will love the results.

You can bring along any props that you would like included to personalise your portrait. Or alternatively, if suitable, the sitting can be done at your home or on location in one of the beautiful surrounding areas of Edgworth where the studio is based. Have a look through our portrait gallery on the site for ideas or alternatively give us a call and we can have a chat about what you are looking for from your portrait sitting.

Our studio sittings are complimentary and you will be invited back approx one week later to view your portraits and place your order. The prices start from just £69.
