Stanley House near Preston and Mitton Hall near Whalley Clitheroe are both a fantastic choice for a wedding venue with some fabulous photography opportunities. 2011 has a been a busy year for us and we have covered weddings at Mitton Hall near Whally and Stanley House more than ever. Wedding at Arley Hall Cheshire Near Warrrington

What a fab day! Nicole and Paul were married at the stunning Arley Hall in Cheshire. Nicole wore THE most amazing dress and truly looked stunning. Paul didn’t look to bad either with his pink socks to match the best men and ushers. It was a fabulous day and the setting of the gardens at Arley Hall never fail to amaze, as does the beautiful interior. A wedding I will never forget. Winter Wedding in the snow hit North West

Elizabeth and Dean decided on a winter wedding and that’s exactly what they got! December 2010 saw the heaviest snow fall for years and right up to the wedding day we where all worried that the roads would be to bad to travel. But on the day the sun shone and the snow stopped and it turned into a beautiful winter wedding. Elizabeth was full of fun and nothing could have stopped the smile she seemed to have on her face permanently that day. A bride in green wellies is a site to behold and one I will never forget! The reception at The Lowry salford Manchester proved a perfect choice and even had an ice ring outside which added to the magic. Thanks to Elizabeth and Dean for such a lovely day and being a great couple to work with.

Its been a really busy summer this year with weddings all over the North West. The lovely venues visited where Mitton Hall Whalley, Stanley House near Preston, Egerton House Bolton, Arley Hall Cheshire, Midland Hotel Manchester, Reebox Bolton, Worsley Marriot Worsley, Gibbon Bridge Nr Clitheroe, Inn at Whitewell Trough of Bowland to name but a few. We also did a fab wedding in France at the stunning D’Omaine D’Essendrias in the Dordogne Region.

Lydia Taylor-Jones is now taking booking for 2011 which is already proving to be a popular year with couples to get married. A few dates available are April 16th July 9th and a few weekends in May and September. Sally and Bry’s Wedding

Sally and Bryn where married on a scorching hot Saturday in May. Lydia was Bryn’s sisters photographer four years ago so it was lovely to see some familiar faces and friendly people. The day ended with a superb sunset sky which we took full advantage of. The venue West Tower at Ormskirk provided a fantastic backdrop to a fab couple who smiled non stop all day. They then went traveling all around Australia for a month on a trip of a lifetime. How will they ever drop down to earth after all this?? Thanks again to Sally and Bryn for asking us to be their photographers x

Beth and Pauls Wedding

Beth and Paul where married on 2nd May at Stathom Lodge Lymm. The sun came out for Beth’s arrival and the smile definitely came out on Paul’s face as she walked down the aisle. In fact Paul’s smile never left his face all day! It was a lovely relaxed friendly wedding and Beth truly looked stunning in her dress from Confetti Box in Eccles. The bridesmaids wore one of the most beautiful bridesmaids dress I have ever seen and both looked pretty in pink. The flowers from Tulips in Warrington set the dresses off. Paul and Beth where really happy with the service and help received from Stathom Lodge which is one of the top venues in the North West for civil weddings. Paul who manages the Manchester United shop was chuffed to receive a best wishes card from the team and manager. Thanks Beth and Paul once again for choosing us as your wedding photogaphers - we really enjoyed spending this special day with you x

On Sunday 9th may I had the privilege of accompanying Lydia on a shoot at a new North West venue, just up the road from me in Hoghton, Preston, BEESTON MANOR. The weather was perfect and our model Kate, whose wedding we did in January of this year at Mitton Hall, Whalley, looked just as stunning as on her wedding day. Beeston Manor is very close to the hearts of John and Janet the owners, as it took them nearly ten years to get it restored to the wedding venue it is today. It is a fantastic choice for space, character and views, possibly one of the best in the north west. What makes it extra special is the location, it is within easy reach of the M6 and M65 yet it has the feel of a remote country manor house .
If your looking for those fairytale pictures look no further! Just look at Kate tip-toeing through the lush wheat fields,which will be golden in September. The Beeston woods which the manor is named after are an extension of the lovely gardens, and Lydia had no hesitation in adventuring down there to photograph Kate in the bluebells and abundance of wild flowers.
